Western Chorus Frog
I've been living in my house since 2009 and I finally decided I would get a photograph of the western chorus frogs that are always behind my house along the railroad tracts. They are the first to come out early spring in March and April to breed. They actually freeze during winter and thaw in spring ready to mate. Using their vocal sack they call for a female and they are very vocal when up close to them. So here's my pic of one and they are only about an inch long.
I used a canon 7D, Sigma 150-600mm, canon 25mm extension tube, flash was used because it was at night, Induro tripod. I was approx. 5 feet away i used a flashlight and manual focus
